Canada's first above-knee amputee firefighter

Michael Laughlin knows about perseverance. The 37-year-old overcame a horrific snowmobile accident in 2007 that resulted in 33 pins and screws holding his left side together, including a titanium forearm, femur and kneecap. Read the full story in the October issue of Canadian Firefighter Magazine:
